Programs

Programmiing is a year-long committment at the Glidden Library.  Adult programs are held throughout the year with everything from lectures, paranormal discussions, history, and crafts!

During June and July, our Summer Reading Program for the kiddos has at least three special events.  We have hosted puppeteers, magicians, jugglers, musicians, and an array of other talented indiviuals who love to entertain your children.

The Library, in conjunction with the City of Glidden also has two annual family events.  The Saturday before Easter is our Spring Eggstravaganza where we have baby animals, a visit from the Easter Bunny, and gift bags.  And in December, Winter Wonderland visits Glidden starting with the annual tree lighting ceremony on main street (Idaho Street).  Right afterward, everyone comes to the library for treats, a visit and story from Santa & Mrs. Claus, and gift bags for the kiddos.  Many other activities are happening in town that evening also.

All programs will be/are announced in the City Newsletter, the library's Facebook page, and our website.
